WebTrak
The radar data displayed is provided by Austro Control GmbH.
The introduction of WebTrak is part of Innsbruck Airport’s environmental and community dialogue and is intended to enable an objective and data-based examination of aircraft noise and traffic volumes.
With WebTrak, a new technical standard has been achieved in the tracking and processing of flight paths and noise data. While flight movements could previously only be displayed as static images, the new system allows an almost “live” visualisation of individual flights as moving images, with a time delay of approximately one hour.
In addition to the graphical display of flight paths, WebTrak provides further information, including flight number, aircraft registration, aircraft type, altitude, and direction of flight. The flight paths are also linked to the corresponding noise measurement data recorded by the three fixed monitoring stations around Innsbruck Airport.
