The official handover took place at Innsbruck Airport as part of the fire service partnership between the Province of Tyrol and the Municipality of Kumanovo. While the vehicle no longer meets the specific operational requirements of an airport fire brigade, it will continue to make a valuable contribution to firefighting efforts in Kumanovo. In particular, the fire tanker will provide important support for tackling forest and wildland fires, as well as incidents in areas without a comprehensive hydrant network.
