When does the airport building open and close?
The airport building is open daily from 05:00 to 23:00.
Where can I store my baggage?
Unfortunately, there are no baggage storage facilities yet at Innsbruck Airport.
How long does the journey take from/to the airport to/from Innsbruck and what are the public means of transport available?
Innsbruck Airport is located at about 5km from the city centre (and the train station). A ride on bus line F takes approximately 15minutes. The bus stop is located immediately in front of the airport building/arrivals area. Further information on timetables is available at www.ivb.at.
There are also taxis available. Taxi ranks can also be found immediately in front of the main building of the airport.
Can I check-in the night before?
Of course we offer an early check-in service for our passengers. Please contact the operating airline directly. All flights not operated by local airlines are handled by Innsbruck Airport`s Passenger Service. Please call +43 512 22525-304 to receive further information.
What is the location of the nearest hotel?

What is the fastest and most convenient way to get from the airport to my holiday destination?

How much does parking cost at Innsbruck Airport?
Innsbruck Airport offers 750 open-air parking spaces as well as 750 spaces in the multi-storey car park. There is no difference in price between open-air and indoor spaces. The parking fees can be found under the section Airport facilities - Parking.
Can I book a trip directly at the airport?
The airlines operating flights from Innsbruck Airport will be pleased to assist you if you wish to book a flight. If you are interested in a package holiday, please contact our travel agency at the airport (section Airport facilities - Travel agency).
How much time prior to the flight departure should I be at the airport?
For scheduled flights we advise you to arrive at the airport at least 1 hour before departure and for charter flights 1.5-2 hours before departure. You may have to allow more time on days with increased traffic.
As a general guide, we advise you to allow more time to ensure a stress-free start to your trip.
Whom do I contact if I need a wheelchair service, for instance?
If you require any medical assistance, please contact the operating airline. Trained airline or airport staff will be pleased to assist you.
Where can I inquire if I want to travel with my pet?
This is also the responsibility of the operating airline. All airlines have their own policies.
Can I carry medication aboard in my hand baggage despite the current security regulations concerning liquids?
Medication is exempt from this regulation. It must be presented at security but you are allowed to take it on board. You should hold a medical certificate for drugs which require a prescription.
